Nicole welcomes her clients as they are, and connects with them using empathic warmth, humor, and authenticity. She is holistic in her approach. She looks at the client, their environment, lifestyle, and relationships to understand their big picture and move with them towards their goals. She believes that the most important component of every successful therapy outcome is the therapeutic relationship between therapist and client.

Trust, safety, empathy, and authenticity should be experienced within the therapeutic relationship. These relationship qualities create an environment conducive to working on life’s issues and feeling comfortable throughout the process of change.

Nicole takes a collaborative approach to therapy to meet the goals presented by her clients. Her style is interactive and her treatment orientation is tailored to each individual client to meet their individual needs and to fit with their unique personalities.
